Its been another stormy not stormy day, the final Dapit game didn’t draw the crowds as expected possibly due the weather and the amateurish nature of the competition from the opposing end, or probably everyone had something more stimulating to watch, but I doubt it, how wrong they were. was a classic game, went to 3 sets, and then we decided to go into town to have cocktails and rum, hopefully with a bit of the old boffola which was present after the kids left!
We walked back up to the Croatia Hotel, the vast concrete cast all inclusive hotel in search of table tennis but all we found was holiday makers of an all inclusive air conditioned ilk, hair salons and marble staircases. Whilst Croatia has been pricey, if we could cut our intake by 50% then it’s probably manageable, maybe in 5 years time. The storm clouds are rolling in now, Anvil shaped Cumulus’ promise a stunning sunset, and surely the measure of a holiday is the final day’s sunset. We love you Croatia; so pretty.
