I’m back, Last year ended and this year has begun in case the less observant amongst us hadn’t realised, so its back to school time for me and i’m very pleased to see Rochelle still holding the fort and this little corner still thriving; a literary oasis. Anyway lets get going, today’s picture is provided by the one and only Dale Rogerson.
On My Marks…
Get Set…
GO!!!

No one had seen Red-Ridinghood or Goldilocks for weeks. Wolf had caught a bad case of Mange, could barely walk and was off his Pedigree-Chum.
There were baseless, absurd and dubious reports of the Bears Hightailing-it through the woods in a battered Mini-Moke.
So Rapunzel, the acting Forest-Ranger, took it upon herself to discover the truth, she’d seen springwatch, and so a plan was formulated.
The motion camera was positioned thoughtfully and strategically by the main track.
Gathered round the desktop later they downloaded the video…
and…
Unsurprisingly its where kids tend to come and take mushrooms and laughing gas…
The hunt for Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks goes on… 100 words back in Fairy Tale land; it’s been a long time.
The red and white spotted Enid Blyton mushrooms?

The kids in my childhood went to the woods to drink cheap beer and smoke cigs. Not me, I was a goody-goody.

Thanks I spent a full year bastardising fairy tales and their protagonists when I first stumbled on the FF, maybe 5 years back… Thought I’d try and revisit again, the problem is trying to remember these fairy folk

I’m beginning to think that the storyteller hasn’t had enough many mushrooms. A couple more and he’ll find them š

The brothers Grimm never had to deal with that plot complication, did they? I enjoyed this fairy tale medley made modern.

Thanks you, it’s a return to bastardised fairy tales for me. When I first started the FF years ago, I was all about the fairy tales!!
