Simply Six Minutes; first time I’ve visited this prompt at Stine Writing, the aim is to write a 6 minute piece about the picture above, in this case a pet crocodile. Who would have one of those who isn’t insane? 

So here goes… it’ll be some sort of stream of consciousness I should imagine. I’m getting a beer, setting up, and then I’ll get cracking…

“Poor bloke didn’t stand a fucking chance, who keeps an Alligator anyway?”

“Its a Cayman”

“Eh?”

“A Cayman, its a member of the Crocodile family, some sort of bastard brother or something”

Where did he get it from? And what was he doing with it? A Lizard in his bedroom for chrissakes?”

“Mirror in the Bathroom?” he half chuckled

“Eh?”

“There’s some peculiar people out there in the swamp, magic men; they don’t think like us.”

“Some folks don’t think at all, Jesus this town”

The Wretched tabloid headline read: 

“Layman Shaman killed by Cayman Unnamed Shame Game” 

Think its 112 words, had to put in punctuation after. But otherwise 6 minutes. Enjoy
