A Loveliness of Ladybirds. B&W Tuesday

The United Kingdom is no longer united it seems, flags on lamp posts and rumours of sleeping armies of fighting age rapists and criminals coming over on boats is all it takes to inflame the fires of fascism and all the time the politicians deny all knowledge of this rhetoric. But the biggest issue I’m seeing at the moment is the loveliness of ladybirds buzzing all over the place, landing on my neck and falling down my back; coming over here and taking our aphids (or something like that) this metaphor was never going to work and I’m not sure really if it ever would, this is more of a stream of consciousness in which I try to work things out as I go along and sooner or later the idea will die and i’ll move onto something else equally as ephemeral.

I’m not even trying to make a part of a living doing this,  probably for good reason, but one day my day will come and I will be permitted to travel to Europe for upto 90 days in every 180. Something to look forward to eh, just hope theres some good stuff on Netflix I can get my teeth stuck into and then immediately forget what it was about and forget what the point of it all was. Theres much retirement chat in my team at work recently, I’m spending a lot of time on my retirement modeller always to the same conclusion; just a little more time soldier, keep on going, you’ll get there in the end.

But in the mean time I’ll just keep slapping my neck to fend off this plague of ladybirds.
