I don’t come from Israel or Gaza and only know what I’ve read in the news and listened to on the airwaves… but…

Trump is without doubt a cock with literally no scruples about how he is seen in the world, as a tangerine tyrant who incarcerates or sues or sacks  his opposition rather than debating with them; that way fascism lies. “Arrest the guy, who cares”. His ego as the most powerful man in the world, and he knows it, is growing to unreasonable levels, while the rest of the world looks on, not knowing which way to step because the man is a certified lunatic, diplomacy with him is like lending a  heroin addict a tenner to pop down to the shops to get some milk and Weetabix and expecting to see him again; turning up when he turns up and denying everything with a shrug.

When a cease fire was brokered in Gaza, just yesterday to much fanfare, I listened to a fair bit to the radio, watched a bit of the tv coverage and after all the back slapping and blowing smoke up each others arses I wondered to myself, “so is this no longer genocide?” There didn’t seem hardly anything spoken in the hours after the event, it seems many Palastinian Prisoners have been set free and the remaining Israeli hostages too, which is wonderful. But I really want to know what happens to Netanyahu and his far right sycophants ? Is he still regarded as a war criminal? Is he still going to be arrested if he sets foot in some European Countries? The Hamas leaders too are going to live the rest of their lives freely in some other Middle Eastern Countries, but the narrative appears to be mainly about the mango coloured reptilian necked psychopath and his pursuit of the Nobel Peace Prize and his legacy, let alone what shady business deals he may or may not be planning Globally with various global actors, with the rebuilding of Gaza and the cementing of the Palestinian state. 

It’s a brutally, strange and twisted world we find ourselves in for sure, and whilst I applaud Trump’s role in the cease fire in Gaza, i’d suggest it’s a long way to peace. 

This black and white photo is a ruined folly called “The Temple” built by a local land owner to house his mistress, its in the middle of a wood now but stands on the edge of a very steep river valley on the Worcestershire- Herefordshire Border. Been looking for it for a while and found it with my mate S over the weekend, about 1 hour before Sunday Lunchtime refreshments.
