We saw this Halo around the sun on a bright and warm Saturday morning, well I couldn’t really see it due to my lack of sunglasses but Mags did with hers, I took a few shots through squinted eyes with my iPhone and got this little beauty; we seem to be surrounded by wonders. Just wish the bloody kids gave more of a shit about the free boring stuff we see when we are outdoors, I have always been able to get drunk on the stuff, metaphorically.
The football started late which when the sun is up means a couple pints at the local juicer on the way home and then an impromptu barbecue at C & A’s, not the shape where I got my first trendy white ski jacket, completely unwaterproof and I suspect useless on the slopes having never tried it, although I did try waterskiing when I was about 9, the French instructor made me cry, he just kept shouting
“Ski Parallel, Ski Parallel” as I was dragged kicking and screaming through the wake, I’ll have a go another day but maybe not at a funeral next time (Thats a joke).

Its a pike in wood, or faces in things, its still a pike. A friend suggested a crocodile but thats just far too predictable. And we had fire and gin, lots of gin and then beer and then we sang the songs of the Macc Lads which I was hoping i’d forgotten, as a teenage accident. Don’t google them for your own sake, thats all I have to say on the matter.

,

Watch your eyes when you do it, always wear sunglasses.
I canāt remember much from the water skiing apart from this angry impatient French man!
