It is sad about the Queen, King Charles (the Spaniel) has lost his Mum, which is shit, I lost my Dad, which was and is still shit, but under the circumstances this was not unexpected, she was 96. But I am not distraught, she has been a constant for me throughout my life, as has the antiques roadshow, but if they disappeared from our screens I wouldn’t expect 12 days of mourning for the likes of Hugh Sculley and a bank holiday to boot. Britain has a serious cost of living/ survival crisis on, which is conveniently being ignored right now.
