Wings and Things

Its not strictly wrong to apportion any blame to senior management who fucked up a project abroad, by thinking they could get the contract signed after the event… Some countries don’t work that way. As a result I and my colleagues, all 1000 of us will not be getting a pay rise this year, despite working like pit ponies during this “period of transition”, but HR has told us that we should be proud of who we work for which absolutely pays the bills whilst the really shiny faced chief of HR drives round in a really massive diesel Audi whilst showing solidarity with the staff who have to have electric cars. She has a diesel for “Family Reasons” and she can go and fuck herself.

But amongst all this doom and gloom comes a possible reason to celebrate for me anyway, its a privilege to be sat in the middle of a tornado whilst every thing falls apart around you, honestly it is, idiot managers hired because they can talk calmly and patronisingly like Jeremy Hunt to pacify the workers, to tell us that black is white and rain is dry, I have not an ounce of sympathy for them and their delusional ways, I know my shit, and how dare a person who hasn’t even done my job tell me otherwise, that would be mad… wouldn’t it, not even a department with a  scintilla for sense would, could be that thick could they…?

Lessons have been learnt in the Middle East, and thats fine because lessons have been learnt, which is great for the future in turn, where “learning as we go is a key to the future of our strategy”.

Sounds solid; I’m in…

Plus by next week I could have wings…
