Snoozy Non Boozy New Year

It seems that you lot out there aren’t being particularly responsive so far this new year. In fact we are two days in and I’ve had a smattering of views. You must pull your socks up and start the year running as I intend to. Although today after being scuppered at work by technical issues, none of which were of my doing, I ended up not being able to go out to do my job so instead stayed in, and caught up on some on line courses, the manadatory ones which companies far and wide force you to do so they can tick a box and tell whoever interested that I am trained in conflict resolution and DSE positioning and other such terms of office wizardry. After these courses I had to take an afternoon snooze, which I fought against but actually afterwards felt splendid. The excesses of Christmas and New Year have well and truly taken their course physically and mentally and so Mrs T and I have decided to try Dry January. Looking over the calendar this morning, its a long time, and thats all I’m going to say about that, but having survived in the pub yesterday playing pool, darts and drinking Corona 0% for a couple of hours I’m suddenly the expert, so we’ll see how that goes.

So by trying to repair my tequila ravaged head after New Year it seems recovery to peak fitness is just around the corner, as soon as this wretched weather stops and I can start getting on with things once more. For about the 3rd time in 4 days I had to completely change my clothes after my dog walk because it feels like we’re living behind a waterfall here, its just soaking wet all the time and no where is it possible to walk without a squelch. Bottom line is, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me should you choose to , I can always start plastering this nonsense all over the Facebook, but then I’d lose the anonymity and I really would rather my cousin doesn’t see any of this rot. So read or miss out, use it or lose it, and beware if you lose it your life will be slightly less empty than it already may be. Love to the family and Happy New Year
