Seem to have woven the Genesis of a slightly complicated FF in the last couple of weeks so this week requires some thought Rochelle. But think I will on top of sleeping on it and crossing all my fingers. This week’s picture is from Jennifer Pendergast, and what a chilly prospect it is, I can certainly relate to that this evening, its Baltic here, not literally, but extremely cold. Thinking caps on
On My Marks…
Get Set…
GO!!!

Turns out Saunas were good for her Vertigo and with the scrap-metal money she got for the decommissioned bells Rampunzel managed to scrape enough to buy a sauna from the middle aisle at Aldi and a new door-knocker… Those damn doorbells drove her batshit crazy.
Loxie and RR-Hood chose arrived during a cold snap to find the sauna frozen into inaction and Rampunzel lying Prostrate on her lounge floor temporarily incapacitated, dribbling and moaning from hideous vertigo.
Rampers couldn’t help so the Fugitives clambered upstairs to investigate for food.
In the fridge; Stuffed Bell Peppers. The Irony wasn’t lost…
There we are the 2 fugitives find themselves stalled temporarily for 100 words! Enjoy
What a great image you paints, I do like stuffed peppers

Ah, the Aldi middle isle – that would be good writing prompt stories based on objects found there!

Oh dear, a backward step for poor Rapunzel, but maybe they can all make some progress once the sauna thaws out

Always an adventure, Shrawl. Anyone who can work batshit crazy is a friend of mine. I love that term and even have it as a tag at my blog.

Batshit crazy is a fantastic turn of phrase, I fully agree with you.

Dear Shrawley,
I wonder why our Aldi doesn’t carry saunas. It’s Baltic here in the middle of the US as well.

Rochelle

I love the term batshit crazy. We say “as boring as batshit” here, quite a common one in these here parts. Great story, poor Punzel!

Boring as Batshit I’ll take and I’ll give you “mad as a box of frogs”

Hehehe!! Mad as a box of frogs! Love it! I have a story about a frog…and also a memory of a green frog here in Queensland.
We say ‘as mad as a meat axe’ here and in NZ.

Oh yes, we’ve used that expression in NZ for decades!
And when time passes very slowly…’like hanging by the end of your toe’…mum used to say that lol
