Friday Fictioneers: Spare Shoes

I’m back, once again… after a break in play and this time i’m back for at least a week to this lovely little corner of the internet hosted by the wonderful Rochelle encouraging us to get the creative juices flowing and write a story with a start and an ending with maybe time for a middle inspired by the photo below, this week sent in by Ronda Del Boccio, and what a photo it is, the angles are all weird. Anyhow best get thinking.

On My Marks…

Get Set…

GO!!!

“I Lost my Shoe”

“Oh, Where? How can you loose 1 shoe?”

“I think it was in the car park, I was shopping”

“After shopping?”

“No, before; I was semi barefoot, which may be why my foot is cut up”

“Hey, your arm is bruised and… have you got a black eye?”

“Ha, yea, I fell down the steps into the garden. God I’m such an idiot”

“Can I get you a spare set of sandals? I’ve some in the car”

She opened the boot, twisted the sandals off the severed bloodied feet, thank heavens for wet wipes.

There we are, 100 words on the missing shoe, it took an unexpected twist, thats probably due to tiredness. Enjoy!
