No word challenges anymore

Weirdly, having not blogged regularly for some time, it seems that some of the blogs I used to follow for daily word prompts and such like have gone. Maybe I am now part of the Zeitgeist of laziness and the general feeling of lacklustre which seems everywhere. I work outside, and when I’m outside I feel great, whatever the weather really, unless I’ve got a hangover (more than I used too ) or a cold (nah, I’m pretty much invincible). But when I settle down in the evening to do some writing, which I used too be really good at, and seemed to fall into the volcano lately, and I need pulling out with some good daily prompts, I wonder to myself where the FUCK are they all? Ragtag, a firm favourite and later find for me, is still here, there, but Fandango less so. Every time I try to connect to his blog I receive a message asking me to get in touch and he/she will get back to me. Its not happening and without word prompts my head turns to a chunk of  iron and I immediately forget what the hell was pissing me off when driving down the M50 this lunch time (there was definitely something annoying me, but can’t remember if it was heading North or South, and what difference that would make.

I was flying over a building site/ partially finished housing estate  today with my work drone and someone from the site hut came up to ask me what I was doing in an accusitory manner, after having spent an hour flattering the fucker in the site hut. People don’t fucking listen. I was doing my job (which obsessive readers and stalkers will know I will not tell until I leave, retire, am sacked (no chance) or die (in which case you’ll never know anyway)).

BRACKET PORN for those interested.

So I spoke to the fellow and told him, I’ve got the relevant licences, this is good for their new house and maybe they should complain about the Easy Jet flight to Akalakalaka which was trespassing overhead for a short while too. Drones: get used to them Idiots, people are talking compromising photos of children and sharing them with news readers, said newsreader doesn’t go to prison, which yet perpetuates the so called industry and gives the message that’s its all ok…

Its not.

And there was a fatal crash in our village this morning, two 70 year olds, husband and wife. The wife died instantly, the husband is critical. I think he lost control, maybe had a stroke, poor bloke. The poor folks.
