When our son was born with his legs pointing back up to his body; bi-lateral talipes, our hearts sunk as to if he could or would ever be able to compete with the other little chaps.
Many years passed in plaster, in boots and bars, in operating rooms and in some pain some of the time. But kids are resilient and resourceful, sometimes fixable sometimes flexible and sometimes unbreakable.
He’s been playing in a football team for 3 years now, and he’s the fastest on the team. He competes, he really does. Darts, cards, football, spellings, computer games which I shall decline to mention, pool which he really enjoys, swimming, golf (not yet, he gets cross), cricket (hasn’t got the patience yet).
So heres to you little man.

Kudos to your little man (funny… my husband called our first born his little man…)

Good for him. You’re right, kids are resilient and they can often do anything they want as long as they get the right encouragement.

That was a sweet post. You have to give everyone a chance. You never know how things will turn out.
