Share Your World

This is the first time i’ve done this and so i’ll be gentle, I don’t want to scare folk off before i’ve even started, so here goes; I shall now Share my world (photo depicts my world as far as my blog goes) with complete strangers, hopefully welcoming and without tracking software to find me. I will however, as a self ordained custodian of Shrawley Woods, be walking there most mornings between 8:15 and 8:45, we generally go for coffee after but I’m not saying where (M’s house).

What are the most important lesson(s) you’ve learned in life?

It’s better to regret something you have done to regret something you haven’t. The glass is always half full, if not more, no matter what s**t life throws at you.

How did you meet your husband/wife or significant other? How did you know he/she was “the one”?

I met the wonderful Mrs T at a techno club in Manchester called Sankey Soaps in June 1990 something (many, many years ago; far too long) “The Advent” we’re playing. She had the most amazing smile and somehow despite not having a pencil and not having full control of my faculties, I managed to remember her address and telephone number, postcode BL8 2BA!! Thats love!

If you could take a year-long paid sabbatical, what would you do?

If paid enough I would travel for a year; Asia and South America, can I bring my wife and kids? If so I’d take them out of school, using them as G-pigs to see if it was detrimental to their future prospects, I did it and I’m unsure if it did me any harm and I will never know, but my guess is travel is good!!

What is your favorite thing to buy at a movie theater concession stand? (credit to The Haunted Wordsmith for this one)

I hate buying anything at the concession stands, it’s all so expensive and so usually smuggle in some sweets, if with the kids,  popcorn (salted and sweet mix) and if i’m feeling decadent a couple of beers.

Hope this helps! Theres more

Lastly:

What are some Holiday Traditions you and/or your family observe in December?

“Its a Wonderful Life”

A Christmas lunch trip to my local boozer to chat to the locals who never go to the boozer.

A morning dog walk, but I do that every day anyway so it doesn’t really count, but this year I will be wearing a Christmas jumper.
