I’ve seen a couple of daffodils planted outside the pub, but this one was a wild one, miles away from anywhere and pallid yellow next to Dick Brook on the walk this morning.
Hope you like it, I used my iphone so its not brilliant, but there again all my shots on this blog are taken with my iPhone so no difference there then.
I like the perspective of this photo, looking right into the “trumpet” of the flower and the flower itself looming large against a gray sky day. Daffodils to me represent the “heralding” of spring, and this photo shows that so well!

Thank you so much, I’ve found if I turn the phone to selfie photo mode the amount of bending down is minimised. You’ll understand when you get to my age!!
