Morning Flora fans, today as promised, I have changed location and am down at the seaside in a place called Bovisand, about a 2 1/2 mile walk south from Plymouth in Devon, not too far from the border with Cornwall, so there you have the scene painted, and I bet you’re wondering what delight I have for you today, well hold your breath no longer, Ive spotted a little pink flower, tough as old boots clinging to exposed cliff tops and rocky outcrops, its about the size of a finger nail and by the way I’ve described this little being you’d have thought I’d discovered a new species.
Please revel at today’s FOTD
Lovely!
It’s Armeria maritima – Sea thrift! 🙂
So happy to see the incredible beauty in something so small. 🙂
