Friday Fictioneers: Polynesia bollocks

Hello to Rochelle and hello to everyone, hope you are all well, congratulations to Jan Wayne Fields on the photograph, I’m imagining it was taken in America rather than anywhere in the UK. This may well be what my story is about, lets see.

On My Marks…

Get Set…

GO!!!

Ken had bought a job lot, £150 for 50 caps, £3 each, a massive profit to be made, said Ken.

Old toys were retro; Tonka, and Strictly Come Dancing had changed peoples minds about, Salsa, well, dancing. These caps would fly out, despite the spelling mistakes.

Kath wasn’t so sure, she’d trusted Ken’s judgement for many years on the Chorley market stall. But these weren’t tracksuits, this was headwear, hats for God’s sake.

Ken said the hats would shift like the “Frankie Says” t-shirts of the 80’s.

Kath wasn’t so sure, she’d checked on the internet, turns out Tonga isn’t a Manchester borough .

There we are 100 words on the nose, this is what it is, no explanation, it just is, a local provincial market stall drama

  1. Dear Shrawley,

The photo was indeed taken in the States. The Midwest to be exact. Ball caps are big “bidness” in these here parts. Ken could be onto something…on the other hand…maybe not so much. 😉 Fun story. 😀

    Shalom,

    Rochelle
