Well this feels like a lifetime ago when I last posted on this forum, Tomorrow we will have been in our new house up on the top of the world for a month and preliminary inspections of the locality show not many signs of flowers in amongst the hedgerows, but I may well be wrong, the Bluebell woods of Shrawley seem a long way off from the bleak windswept wastelands of Clifton, but I am willing to be proved wrong. I have noticed the farmers seem to plant strips of Corn and Sunflowers on the edges of their fields, I suppose it could have something to do with the rearing of Pheasants, but again, I have no idea! So with that in mind today’s FOTD is one such Sunflower.
