Well, My first award and I’m entirely bowled over by the support shown to me by fellow bloggers, readers, friends and strangers.
So in the spirit of acceptance speeches I’d like to thank (sniffles and crying) my Mum my Dad, my Biomum and Biodad, my wife, kids (wiping tears from cheeks) my friends (starting to shake uncontrollably now) my geography teachers, (falling to the ground in a heap) my dog (carried off stage to rapturous applause)
And of course the most prolific blogger I’ve ever had the good fortune to stumble upon; thecreativeptsdgal , check her out theres plenty to read, theres lots and lots to read!
Like her I have been doing the A-Z Challenge throughout April and it is incredibly challenging, with only a week left now the end is in sight and I am very much looking forward to that end, so I can get back to the daily musings and a few prompts here and there. I’m also going to change the format of my blog too, so hold onto your hats!

Thank the blogger who nominated you and post a link to their blog
What is the most difficult part of your artistic practice? This would be finding the time to get this stuff down, I really need complete calm, peace and quiet; not always easy to come by!
What has been the most difficult thing to date that you have written about? I think so far as I can remember the toughest thing I have written about is the letter R in my A-Z Challenge, my mind went blank!
Do you limit yourself to edits? If I understand you correctly then I read through my blog posts once after I have finished, generally correcting grammar and spelling, I’m not writing a novel for publication just yet so if it sounds ok in my head then thats ok with me.
Snack or no snack when writing? No snack, maybe tea or a beer if I’m feeling decadent!
What or who encourages you to keep posting to your blog? My Wife regularly reads my blog, and the members of the Ministry (N,M and C) all read it daily. Plus it’s become a real habit to me now and I’d feel I would have failed myself if I stop now.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were little? Really; an explorer or writer, I used to make up and draw maps when I was young, and always had a sense of the dramatic when story writing, now i tend to see the excitement in the mundane.
Do you have a writing buddy? (Dog, cat, fish, snake etc…) No I don’t, last year my dog was run over by a car at less than a year old, we were all very sad, so later this year well watch this space!
My 7 Questions to you:
1: Why do birds suddenly appear?
2: Is music important to you?
3: Favourite type of sorbet?
4: Do you use a thesaurus?
5: Why do you do this?
6: Where is your favourite holiday destination.
7: Hat or no hat?
Good luck to you all and remember its only a game, but I will be checking answers to make sure they are answered correctly.
