Well, today’s FOTD might not even be a flower, now i’ve looked at it on the laptop. This morning on my walk; solo, and without N,M & C, but with Benny, I came across this and with the vari-focals I now wear, there seem to be certain sized items that I have slight trouble discerning what they are.

This is one of these moments. It is quite obviously a grass and you can see the flower bud at the top, but I wonder if this feather looking miscellany is actually part of the plant. I say it is, and I stand by my dubious fact of the day, and be damned the consequences. Plus FOTD could stand for feather of the day, so either way I win.
